Support Service Waivers
Aging Waiver
This is an Aging Home and Community-Based Waiver Services in Pennsylvania that provides long-term care services to qualified Pennsylvanians ages 60 and above who are living in their homes and communities.
Act. 150
This is a state-funded act that provides personal assistance services, personal emergency response systems (PERS), and service coordination to individuals who are physically disabled and meet the eligibility requirements of this act.
CommCare
As per the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, CommCare is developed for individuals over the age of 21 who are clinically eligible for a nursing facility, experience a medically determinable diagnosis of traumatic brain injury, and are financially eligible for MA waiver services.
Independence
This waiver serves individuals ages 18 to 60 with physical disabilities. It enables them to live in the community and remain as independent as possible through care and support services.
OBRA
This is a Home and Community-Based waiver that aims to enable individuals with severe developmental physical disabilities and other related conditions—who require the level of care of immediate care facility—to live in the community and remain as independent as possible.
